On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, New Horizons will swoop three times closer to “Ultima” than we flew past Pluto! New Horizons images revealed one of the most geologically varied bodies in our entire system, with massive nitrogen plains shadowed by mountains—maybe even volcanoes—made of water ice. I've found the raw LORRI images taken by New Horizons at Ultima Thule but haven't been able to find raw MVIC images (or data from the other instruments). An evocative new image sequence from NASA ’s New Horizons spacecraft offers a departing view of the Kuiper Belt object (KBO) nicknamed Ultima Thule – the target of its New Year’s 2019 flyby and the most distant world ever explored.. New Horizons was flying so fast, at approximately 31,000 miles per hour (14 kilometers per second), that a collision with something as small as a grain of rice could have been catastrophic. The growth in the population of seniors in Canada is accelerating. On Saturday, Dec. 15, the New Horizons hazard watch team concluded its work, having found no moons or rings in the path of New Horizons on its planned closest approach to Ultima. This is where we will post raw images. As New Horizons sped closer, Pluto, which initially appeared as a small dot in LORRI images, grew to a system with multiple objects.

We invite you to download them, do your own image processing, and we encourage you to upload your creations for us to enjoy and share. The new deadline is now December 31, 2020. The total number of seniors is projected to reach approximately 10 million by 2036.
